On July 31st, 2019, we accepted an offer on our house. The buyers were relocating from Texas and had an elementary age child, so we agreed to their request to close on August 19th. We knew it would be a busy few weeks, but we understood they wanted to be in Tulsa before the new school year began.
That put us closing on the house on the first day of school and a mere 18 days to move…no big deal. Except, in those 18 days, Shane had two work trips scheduled and the girls were looking forward to going to the Mtn. View Fair to visit Grammy, Papa Ed, and their cousins. Those trips meant that for nine out of the 18 days, at least one of us would be out of town!
The girls really enjoyed our trip to the Mtn. View Fair!

As a surprise, Grammy and I had conspired to enter some of A’s artwork into the art competition. To make it even better, she won several prizes! Thanks for helping us out and submitting the artwork for us, Grammy.

After our trip to Mtn. View and Shane’s two work trips to Vegas, it was time to get home and get serious about packing!
